Clinical Positions

​Although we may not always have advertised positions, we are pleased to accept expressions of interest from veterinary surgeons or veterinary nurses interested in joining Springwood Veterinary Clinic. Applicants should submit a cover letter outlining their shift availability, preferred days or number of shifts, and their motivation for joining our team. A current CV or resume with references should also be included.

Volunteer Positions/Work Experience

We welcome volunteer and work experience students; however, placement opportunities are limited.

​High School Students: Preference is given to those intending to pursue university studies, as students following the TAFE pathway will have opportunities for placements as part of their coursework. Interested students are requested to submit a cover letter or email outlining their career aspirations and preferred placement dates.

TAFE Students: Due to high demand, placements are only offered to students enrolled in Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Applicants should provide a cover letter or email detailing their course dates, preferred volunteer days, and reasons for seeking placement at our clinic, along with a copy of their CV.

University Students: Placements are available for DVM/BVSc and BVetTech students. Applications should include a cover letter or email specifying preferred placement dates, current course level, and any relevant information from the educational institution.
