Dr Megan RossVeterinary Surgeon - BVSc (hons)
Dr Megan grew up on a farm in central Queensland before studying to be a vet in Brisbane. She graduated in 2003 and spent several years working both in regional Qld and the UK. Returning to Australia she settled on the North Coast of NSW where she owned two veterinary clinics for 15 years. Megan has a been a mountains resident since 2014 and purchased Springwood Veterinary Clinic in 2023. Her particular interests are behaviour, dentistry and anything cat-related. In her spare time Megan enjoys hanging out with two children as well as bush walking and baking. |
Dr Thoraiya DyerVeterinary Surgeon - BVSc
Dr Thoraiya enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a particular interest birds. She works closely with the local branch of WIRES to provide veterinary care to the injured birds of the Blue Mountains region. She graduated as a veterinary surgeon more than 20 years ago. She has lived in the mountains for many years with her family and is a published fiction author in her spare time. |
Dr Ellené RossouwVeterinary Surgeon - BVSc
Dr Ellené graduated as a vet in South Africa but has spent most of her 30 year career working in the southern states of Australia. She has a particular interest in ultrasound. She has completely extensive post-graduate course in internal medicine and surgery. In her spare time she enjoys reading and going to the gym. |

Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV) Kathrine is a veterinary nurse with over a decade of experience. She loves working with exotic species, particularly rabbits. In her spare time she is also a firefighter. Vienna
Student Veterinary Nurse Vienna grew up in a neighbouring suburb and is currently studying her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She is highly engaged in all aspects of patient care and brings genuine enthusiasm to her role within the clinic. |

Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV) Laura been involved with the veterinary and animal care industries since 2020. She is a recent arrival to the mountains and works with other small creatures (children) as an SLSO when she is not in the clinic. Lily
Customer Service/BAnVetBioSc (hons) Lily while mainly helping us with customer service, has also had several years of experience across a variety of roles in other veterinary clinics. She has an honours degree in Veterinary & Animal Bioscience. |
