Dr Megan RossVeterinary Surgeon
Dr Megan grew up on a farm in central Queensland before studying to be a vet in Brisbane. She graduated in 2003 and spent several years working both in regional Qld as well as all over the UK. Returning to Australia she settled on the North Coast of NSW where she owned two veterinary clinics for 15 years. Megan has a been a mountains resident since 2014 and purchased Springwood Veterinary Clinic from Dr Andrew in 2023. In her spare time Megan enjoys hanging out with two children as well as bush walking and baking. |
Dr Thoraiya DyerVeterinary Surgeon
Dr Thoraiya enjoys all aspects of general practice but has a particular interest birds. She graduated as a veterinary surgeon more than 20 years ago. She has lived in the mountains for many years with her family and is an author in her spare time. |
Melanie ThompsonCustomer Service
Melanie was born and raised in England; she came to live in the mountains with her husband Andrew back in 2001. She has been working part time at the Clinic since 2003. In between times she tries to find time for needlecraft, Gardening and cooking and outdoor activities. |
Tyler
Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV) Tyler has been part of our team since 2019. Tyler has a particular interest in feline behaviour and care. In his spare time he enjoys listening to a variety of music and spending time with his friends. Kathrine
Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV) Kathrine is a veterinary nurse with over a decade of experience. She loves working with exotic species, particularly rabbits. In her spare time she is also a firefighter. |
Megan
Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV) Megan has been with Springwood Vet Clinic for several years as a junior nurse. She loves working with birds and other critters. Megan is continuing her studies with the long term plan to qualify as a veterinary surgeon. Bek
Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV) Bek qualified as a vet nurse in 2013 and has worked in a wide range of clinics since, including the RSPCA clinic at Yagoona. She loves her job because by working to change and save the lives of her patients, it enriches her own. |
Tina
Veterinary Technician Tina has been working in the veterinary industry for 3 decades in both clinical practice and industry. Outside of her veterinary life, her passion is golf. Anita
