How much does a consultation cost?
Prices for the most common visit reasons can be found here. We are happy to prepare written estimates for procedures and more complex visits so our patient's families have complete cost transparency.

What should I bring to my first visit?
If you have a vaccination record card/book, please bring that to your first visit. Don't worry if you don't have one - we can still figure our what your pet needs. We also appreciate knowing your pet's previous vet care provider, so if relevant we can request their medical records to be sent across so there can be continuity of care.

Can you prescribe repeat medication, and do I need a check-up first?
Regular health checks are important for detecting early changes that may influence your pets' health. We require check-ups every 6 months for chronic health conditions that require ongoing medication. More medication can be requested via the 'Request' section of our online booking portal.

What should I do in a pet emergency, and where do I go after hours?
If your pet has an emergency within business hours - please call the clinic and come straight down. If the emergency is related to a potential poisoning - you can call the Animal Poisons Helpline for a remote consultation to determine your pets needs first. Outside of business hours there are several options for 24/7 care - SASH Prospect, ARH Minchinbury or Wellpets Nepean.
